We’ve made changes to ensure that our products are more sustainable than the current standard, and we’ll continue to improve them over time. As Marlow grows, we are reinvesting into research and development to continuously minimize the environmental impact of our products - we’re designing products with you and our planet in mind. Our Tampons
Here’s the low-down: most drugstore tampons are made from rayon or viscose and may include other synthetic materials. At Marlow, our tampons are made from 100% organic cotton and nothing else.
What this means for you:
There are no dyes, fragrances, or chemical additives, as these can irritate the skin.
With Marlow, you know exactly what you’re getting - organic cotton, and nothing else.
What this means for the environment:
For many, tampons are a necessity. That’s why we’re continuously taking steps to minimize the environmental impact of our products.
GOTS Certified Organic Cotton
You’re choosing a product that is manufactured without the use of hazardous chemicals, meaning the farm, factory workers and you are protected.
Promotes Cleaner Airways
These chemicals will not enter air and waterways, which can negatively impact the environment.
Produced in a Closed Loop
Organic cotton, unlike rayon, is produced in a closed loop and grown with rain water, resulting in a more sustainable crop.
Our Applicators
Our tampon applicators are a sugar-cane based plastic, allowing us to rely on renewable resources compared to the traditional petroleum-based plastic applicator.
Our Packaging
When it comes to our packaging - our tampon wrappers and our shipping mailers compostable. Additionally, all box packaging is recyclable!
Our Lubricant
Our lubricant is water-based, which is best for those who have sensitive skin or are prone to vaginal irritation, and it can be used safely with our tampons and with condoms*! Our aloe-based formula is pH-balanced, free of any harsh ingredients, and designed to provide moisture and reduce vaginal dryness.
*Safe to use with natural rubber latex and polyisoprene condoms.

these are sometimes used to provide the “warming” sensations present in some lubes, but they can cause damage and dehydration to vaginal and anal tissue
Petroleum + Petroleum Derivatives
these leave a coating on the skin which can trap bacteria
